Week 1: Monoprinting
Monoprint of a sculpture group from Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool.
From our first week of CPM course. Monoprinting is a “transition” technique: that is to say, the marks made on paper are really made by the action of drawing, but it’s a good introduction to printmaking as you experiment with rolling out ink, and the idea that you don’t make marks directly onto paper.
